December Kindness: The Greatest Gift That I Can Give

Dec 05, 2022 17:09

I've been wondering what's the best thing I can give to someone who might be lonely, and decided that it was company; so, I went for a walk with Mum today; it was good to see her.

I got over a small disappointment this morning that I can't do the Christmas volunteering that I wanted to do this week (long reason, I won't go into it), and we popped into a shop together to buy a foldable "sit mat" for my rambling. The guys in there seemed a bit unsure what that was, and didn't seem to know much about my ramblers' discount, but at least it was cheap.

England are through to the quarter finals against France; I wasn't too surprised that we won our last game, but it seemed like a difficult one to begin with. I will be out for some of Saturday night, so will try to avoid hearing the score.

On Strava, I have logged:
*71km for the Breitling Century Challenge; and
*43km for the December Walking Distance Challenge.
