One of my biggest takeaways this morning at church was about the Sabbath being a day to rest, and I decided I'd do just that and come home to watch the football (England v Senegal).
I suspected one of my friends might come out with "oh, come round to mine to watch the game", but that wouldn't really suit me, for too many reasons, including not wanting to get back late when I've been out since the morning.
I often find myself doing whatever the opposite of eavesdropping is, just so as to not overhear plans that will give me FOMO if I don't choose to get involved, because I don't feel like doing anything too spontaneous.
So, I'm home now, and hopefully England will get a good win.
Also, I've shared stuff before about the
Right to Roam (see link), but it is a cause I care about, so I thought I'd share it again. As someone who gets more and more into Rambling, I think access to countryside is really important for everyone, not least for mental health. Too much of it feels like it's walled/gated off.
