I had a couple of mini-calamities last night; first off, I managed to smash my rice jar while trying to clear away my clean dishes and cutlery probably too late. Afterwards, I went to find my umpires' shirt for the tournament, and found it wasn't there. I quickly realised that I'd let Mum take it to her house with some other clothes out of my wardrobe that I hardly ever wear, as we dismantled it.
I woke up in a bit of a grumpy mood, and put on the best shirt that I could wear, but was able to pick up a spare umpires' shirt at the tournament, and the day went well, and quicker than usual, despite a few injuries, and having to set up a ring again.
We'd done flying kicks for the kids, which involved them having to jump over a bar onto a crashmat; this lasted about an hour, and we set down, and then two kids came over asking when they were competing in this same event, so we had to get all the equipment out again.
Now that I'm home I'm just going to find something I enjoy doing; amazingly, I get fun out of wrapping Christmas presents, so I'll get on with that after dinner.
