I wish sometimes that I wouldn't place more weight on my mistakes than what I get right.
It feels like I can do a thousand things right, but one slip up or forgotten task, and I just feel like a gigantic screw-up. I needed Mum to remind me of the things I'm good at, like organising today's Harry Potter tour, which I bought her earlier this year.
I suppose I should also remember that I did manage to approach the Italian tourists who arrived at church earlier, and engage them in conversation; turned out they were off to visit the Harry Potter Studios, and had just popped in to see a church.
The Harry Potter tour went well, after we managed to find the tour guide, and it was predictably busy around Westminster, where we started, because of people coming to pay their respects to the Queen; we did see all the people queuing along the south bank to see her lying in state.
There were a bunch of locations from Harry Potter that I didn't know about (I certainly didn't recall passing the building that doubled up as the Ministry for Magic before), and I wouldn't have guessed that Professor Trelawney's classroom and Mad-Eye Moody's classroom were both accessed via the whispering galley staircase in St. Paul's, something I probably should have recognised.
Here's Big Ben, looking better than ever.

I haven't been too inventive with the latest
photo_scavenger prompt, "recycle", so I'll just share a picture of the re-usable Starbucks cup that I bought to have my pumpkin spice latte in this morning.
Starbucks was noticeably busy, and I could hear a few American accents, and see a large queue for the toilets. I was sat next to a guy who got me looking after his laptop while he rushed out to make a phone call; he was at least friendly, and grateful to me. I was glad I wasn't in a hurry to get away.
On Strava, I have completed the Sur Week of Greatness Challenge.
Tomorrow, I start two mini-challenges:
* Veloforte September Switch Up (2 hours); and
* STEP'N into the Metaverse (1 hour, 10 minutes)
