Self-Care September: In Liz We Truss?

Sep 05, 2022 17:56

So, the big news today is that Liz Truss will be the next Prime Minister; a step up from Boris, but she still strikes me as just a bit daft, and I'm not sure if she will grow on me.

I've been back at work today, so it's been a good chance to catch up with others, with the slight drawback that not that many of my colleagues work in the office on Mondays. I've just not been trying to beat myself up about my mistakes, which is just as well at times when I realise I'm making silly errors while working with Excel.

Letting other minor slip ups that end up not mattering is a bit harder for me, usually when other people irritate or bother me (mostly personal space issues).

On Strava, I have:
* Walked one of 20 miles for a new challenge: Lucozade Sport: Own the Unknown;
* Logged 7 hours and 24 minutes for Double Down for Macmillan Cancer Support; and
* Walked 30km for the September Walking Distance Challenge.
