Jump Back Up July: No Trains Again, Naturally
When it rained last night, I felt the need for a sudden imitation of Tim Robbins in The Shawshank Redemption.
Once again, trains did not run (or they barely ran at all) on my line, forcing me to work from home.
I've been trying to remember that at times like this, when things go wrong, I should pause, and practise self-kindness, instead of beating myself up, though today was once again very boring.

The Tory leadership competition is down to Sunak v Truss, and I'm not a big fan of either: Sunak because of his latest budget, and Truss because she seems increasingly ditzy and incompetent. I think I've used this meme before; here it is again.
