I watched a show that I hadn't seen for a little while tonight, since my Sky Plus box put it on series link randomly: Absolutely Fabulous.
So, if you've not seen this show, here's the premise:
Jennifer Saunders plays a somewhat monstrous, Basil Fawlty-like PR guru/fashionista. Her grown up daughter, played by Julia Sawalha, is nothing like her, and is near puritanical, always being disgusted by her mother's behaviour.
Joanna Lumley plays the most entertaining character, a vile, chain-smoking, alcoholic character who really cares about no one but herself.
The show ran for a few series in the 1990s, and I didn't really watch it, apart from tuning in at the end of episodes; it looked like it ended, and then came back in 2001, and the episode I watched was the first episode of the "reboot".
It wasn't brilliant, and I remember this series being a bit hit-or-miss, although episode five is an absolute classic. This one was rather too full of celebrity cameos, and had disability-related humour at the end that felt a bit extreme for even Ricky Gervais. Thus, I didn't laugh quite as much as I expected to. I also didn't remember anything of it.
Incidentally, the show ran for about two or three series in the noughties, then stopped after a particularly bad Christmas special, only to come back in 2012 for a few episode, and then the film. I really should watch more of the firs three series, which I probably haven't seen in full.
As for the rest of the day, my moods have been all over the place.
So, I may have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Coronavirus; I did my first lateral flow test in a while, and tested negative (my good thing for today), and I hope to stay that way.
I'm still bummed about the stag do, and train strikes, and I've had my brain suggesting very bad ideas for how I could still attend, and avoid the FOMO. It's one of those times when I'd like to avoid problems, even though it makes me pace around having a silent argument with myself.
I also received the next Christian book that I will be reading with friends (the heart of ANGER); looking forward to seeing what this is about.
A couple of pictures to brighten your evening:
This should have been my entry for

Also, I've been boxing a few things up in advance of dismantling my wardrobe; I accidentally made my boxes look like a face.
As for my Strava challenges, I have completed Miles for Refugees, and the Hydrow and Nuun Summer Challenges.
I've logged just over 3 and a half hours for the Red Bull 24 Hour Chrono Challenge.
