Optimistic October: No Time for Blame

Oct 11, 2021 17:21

The Prayer Triplet meeting went well yesterday; we tried out a new Chinese Restaurant - the system for ordering was a bit confusing at first, mostly because they had QR codes for a website supposedly for ordering food, but which didn't work. They had lots of bubble teas on the menu, which looked tempting, but they were too expensive.

I don't know if we'll go back.

I've been thinking today how I tend to blame others, including myself, if even little things go wrong; I've gotten into trouble for blaming others for sloppy work output and even when I've mislaid my possessions.

There hasn't been anything big today to assign blame to, apart from finding a confused delivery person outside looking for an address in the flats that doesn't exist. I try my best to help, but when I don't know how to, there's nothing much can do.

I did fitness this morning, and had a walk with Mum early in the afternoon, completing 1 hour and 10 minutes towards the Aftershokz Persist 100 Challnege on Strava.

I've managed to get a few pictures of Autumn leaves yesterday and today.

I tried a last-ditch effort last night at a picture for the photo_scavenger prompt, "Time"; I resorted to getting a shot at home - it looks like others are belatedly completing other prompts, so I will look for good ones another time for "Zodiac", "Silver" and "Stone".
