I could have done a few things today - worked in the office, even gone out tonight. I had reasons not to - Extinction Rebellion worrying me, and not wanting to go out because of having a lot on tomorrow, and knowing that I'd end up exhausted, not to mention things I need to finish up tonight if possible.
As soon as I've had the thoughts about doing other things, I start to apply common sense, and I start to feel less bad about my choices.
Work has been okay today, and I've been getting on with things easily - I've been out today and managed to accumulate for current Strava challenges:
*4 hours 50 minutes activity time, meaning I've completed the Le Col Threshold 2020 Challenge, and got over 50% towards completing the Therabody Double Down Challenge;
*15km towards the September Walking Challenge, which is
*8 miles towards Sweat with Your Sole, and a new challenge, Miles for Refugees, which is to walk a bit further: 64 miles.
I've also read on
ohnotheydidnt that Rob Lowe and Michael Schur are going to be doing a Parks and Recreation podcast, launching on September 14, which I hope to be able to listen to - they are going to do what I have been doing, rewatching the show. So far, I've forgotten a lot of it, and it makes me realise that I probably missed a lot by not always giving the show my full attention when I first watched it, choosing to keep looking at my phone instead.
I've also started the 30 Day Doodlewash September Challenge - it's for drawing pictures of each of the 30 prompts they have given, one a day, but I've had to start with a bit of catching up. Since I'm practising self-kindness, I won't beat myself up over bad drawings!

I think I'll have another walk later.
