Harry Potter 30 Days Challenge, Day #14: How I Got into Harry Potter
As I recall it, I first read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on holiday in Arizona.
I believe it was after I had carelessly left two reading books in our hotel room in Tombstone (left in a drawer), so Mum said that I should try Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
I didn't get through the whole book at first, and went back to it a year later - I think I felt a little bit scorned, even insulted by some of the characters, and their attitudes towards "muggles". When I read the whole book, I really enjoyed it.
