Altruistic August: Chutney

Aug 16, 2021 12:12

This is my first attempt at chutney - it's apple and blueberry flavour, and it doesn't taste too bad; I mostly followed a recipe online, and improvised with some ingredients - I threw in a cinnamon stick to add some flavour (discarded before I took the shot), then let it simmer for 90 minutes.

I'm going to share it with family, as gifts, so I hope they like it.

I've had a productive morning (though I still have to unpack all my bags - procrastination is setting in). I've logged 22 minutes out of 100 towards Strava's #thehumanrace challenge with my morning fitness session, and I've exchanged a few texts with a slightly frustrated colleague - it's all about the poorly organised office fantasy football league, which was organised too late and apparently ditched after a few days due to "lack of interest".

I think some people don't realise that many of us need more time to respond to messages. Also, a lot of my colleagues must be away right now, explaining the lack of responses.
