I've been thinking of all the healthy things I'm doing today.
First off:
Balanced meals
I always try to eat a balanced meal, I don't always manage it!
Breakfast was
overnight oats (see link), made last night; this usually fills me up.
Lunch was minestrone soup (tinned, a bit boring), with a large sausage roll, to give me carbs and protein, followed by Mum's leftover strawberry shortcake., which I should have taken a picture of.
Dinner wll be leftoaver butter bean casserole; I'll add green beans, and cous cous - that should sort out the need for green veggies/carbs. I'll have yoghurt afterwards for protein.
Then, there's also fitness
I managed just over ten minutes of indoor fitness this morning, but had a slight backache, which made it difficult - it's not too bad, but put me off doing any plank exercises.
Mum and I had a walk past the lavender farm this afternoon; it was a pleasant walk, and we could smell the lavender, which gives the spot a pleasant atmosphere, and is my good thing for today.
I have taekwon-do later; I think I can manage it, I'll just be careful with my back.
I've managed to walk 47 of 50 km in the Strava June Walking Challenge, and I've managed to record 1 hour and 9 minutes of activitiythe 5 hours needed for a new challenge: "Feed your drive with Arla Protein".
New household items that arrived in the post this morning - kettle, toaster and ironing board, to replace the one that fell apart.
