30 Days of Spike Meme, Day #26: What Would Spike be Like if He'd Not Had Angelus as a Guide?
It's another of these tricky hypothetical ones, and I definitely never thought of Angelus as a "guide" for Spike.
Well, for one thing, assuming that in this scenario, Spike and Drusilla travelled separately from Angelus/Angel and Darla, maybe they wouldn't have ended up in the Boxer Rebellion, and Spike wouldn't have killed the slayer there, maybe he wouldn't have had enough experience or confidence to kill Nikki Wood, so she'd have dusted him on the subway; so, he wouldn't have even come to Sunnydale.
That's my answer.
