The Dig
Within the span of one week (June 4th - June 11th) I attended a wedding, my graduation and a funeral for my grandmother (mother's side). Needless to say the steam pressure in my engine is a little low, anyone got some coal?
My work is going well, I got a good handle on both contracts and I am just about caught up from my marathon week (one can deduce that i got little work done). I really like being a illustrator when I'm doing work, and I'm scared shit-less when I'm looking to acquire work. I guess that's the occupational hazard of being your own boss.
This evening I decided enough was enough and started an cleaning session that could only be described as "archaeological". I went through over three months of settlement and debris that was stacked 2 feet high (I kid you not). If it was left much longer I feel I may have been able to condensed a crude fossil fuel, funny how cleanliness hinders innovation.
