However, the people in my world deserve a better fate. I have met many good people… Many kind, wonderful people. People who care more for others than themselves. I have seen them face weakness and hardship, yet they do not give up. Impossible odds do not stop them from helping a friend in need. That is something I have come to know well. Yes… I owe them my life for that.
My brother is a strong person who upholds the law the same as he follows his heart. I know he is more caring than he seems. If I were to die here, I would deny him the chance to fulfill his promise to my sister… Nor would we be able to heal what broken relationship we have. I know his heart is good.
My friend, Renji, was my family when I had nothing else. We stayed together as children to survive. Over the years, we watched as our friends- No, our family- be taken from us. No child should need to bury their own friends. However… It was his support and strength that helped me to survive. He is a dear friend. He will always be close to my heart.
