hello all...
Just figured I'd let y'all know that I'm alive. I've been going through some personal stuff lately and I played hermit for the past week or so. Seriously, the only person I've talked to at length for over a week now is my mama, so don't feel bad if you feel like I've been avoiding you. I even went a week without talking to my daddy.... I went to Mama's house this weekend. My cell phone died sometime Friday night and I didn't have a charger that didn't require my car to be running to work so I took it as an opportunity to disappear for a little while, which was good for me.
I'm not going to talk about what was bothering me so don't ask. Just know that I feel better after my week of solitude and I feel like my life is beginning to look up.
I started a new job last week. I now work for a plumbing company =/ I'm what they call a dispatcher but it's basically a glorified receptionist/secretarial type position. I answer phones and take down people's plumbing and electrical problems and make appointments for people to come out and fix it for them. The money is only slightly better than I made at CVS - a major pay cut from the law firm. It sucks but I looked for work for over three weeks and this was the only place that was willing to work around my school schedule and that wasn't retail. so i still get my weekends off for whatever that's worth....
one thing's for sure... I can't wait until I'm up in orlando.
