Trent left for Orlando on Friday to visit his family for Easter. That evening I had Gatorette practice for the baton competition the next day. It was supposed to be from 7-9. I think we got out of there around 10:10. The thing is, it made me dread the competition. But after practice Laura Lee, Aubrey, and I went to Jimmy John's and Cold Stone. Yummy yummy. It got me all energetic, which made going to bed very difficult. But I eventually fell asleep around 1am and strangely woke up a few minutes before my alarm went off at 6:10am. The competition was so much fun. My job for the morning part of the competition was to clerk with one of the judges. Her name was Dorothy and she was one of the original Baltimore Colts Majorettes and she held one of the first baton competitions in the country. Group performances started around 4. We performed really well. I want to say UCF beat us in Large Collegiate Dance Twirl(only because we had a lot of drops...) but both our Small Collegiate Dance Twirls beat UCF. Here's links to the performances, Lauren taped them with my digi camera! I'm sorry they're temp downloads, but they're large and couldn't be done any other way (thanks Peter for figuring this out for me!!)

I talked to my mom about it, and she talked to my Aunt Jean and they're gonna help my mom pay for it. So I get to go to Nationals! So if anyone is in South Bend, Indiana from July 19-23 I will be too! Hah!
After the comp on Saturday, I came back to the room and watched Finding Neverland with Lauren. I love that movie, its just SO good. And JDepp is SO amazing. heh. I went to bed around midnight I think.
Sunday morning I woke up and went to church. After church, I went with Lauren, Sarah, and Peter to a picnic with a bunch of people from their church. It was a lot of fun. Sarah and I left in search of a Wal-Mart, but everything was closed. It made me happy to know people are honoring holidays but made me sad because I wanted milk, etc. Trent got back later that evening, but we didn't see each other at all.
Monday I went to class and hung out with Trent. We went out for a belated Easter dinner at Outback after ATA baton practice. After dinner we went to Starbucks, and I got a white chocolate mocha... YAY! haha! I just finished studying for my psych test and now its off to bed! night!
WAIT... I found out good news today... I most likely do NOT have to go to Boca Raton on my birthday for a baton competition with ATA, so the April 15th birthday party for moi is even more on! Nell and Kacy and hopefully Alina will be attending! Contact me for details! :-) Night all! Hope everyone had a happy Easter!
