Home to Santa Fe for Christmas. I leave on December 22nd and am there until January 2nd. So nice to have so much time there to visit my brother before he heads down to Peru, see my mom and the rest of my family and equally as important, to ski. I hope that Taos is doing better this year or at the very least the Santa Fe Ski Basin has more than the lower mountain open. The real treat would be if Pajarito Mountain up in Los Alamos would have some decent snow fall this year. It has been years since I have been up there and I love that area since it is not ramsacked by all the damn tourists and ski bunnies.
And, of course, Christmas Eve in Santa Fe with the farolitos and the bonfires (luminarias) in my part of town which is closed to traffic for several hours so all can enjoy. There is truly nothing better than Christmas in SF.
