You take the good with the bad
Where to begin? The bad?
1. My aunt died last Sunday. It was very sudden. She had a massive brain anuerysm that ruptured. Add to that, the fact that she was on blood thinners for a heart issue and there was just no hope. She bled out into her brain before anything could be done. So very sad and tragic. You just never know.
2. On my way to the visitation for said Aunt, I had a car accident! Sun shining, no issues and all of a sudden I hit a rain cloud and downpour out of nowhere. I had cruise control on and before I could tap the breaks and slow down I hit the water. I hydroplaned and hit another car in the right lane. We spun around and around and around.
Fortunately, we were both fine! No one was hurt: Just my pride and our cars. Both our vehicles were still driveable but will need repairs. Ugh. So now I have to contend with insurance and getting a rental, etc. Not cool.
The Good:
I had my eye check-up and all was well! I go back Nov 22, for my LASIK evaluation and to schedule the final surgery. :) I am excited! This almost makes up for the other stuff... almost!
