I ran off this weekend didn't I? Sorry about the pron, but I had reached a point by Friday afternoon that I just ready to get the hell out of town. So, I packed up my bag and did just that. I WANT ONE!!!! Just tell me where to Paypal the $!
Side note: if you're worried about the tiles not showing up, just swap them with another set of beads (like the white diamond shaped ones) to bring them more to the front.

Rearranging them might be the way to go, you're right. But I am thinking I may try to remove the clasp and put some metal rings in there with some sort of embellishment, then simply add some black satin cording for the additional length, then reattach the clasp.
There are a few different options, I've just got to play around with it and see.

Maybe if they become an 'item' you could approach for rights to market them at cons! Wouldn't that be awesome!

That would be awesome, but highly unprobable. There are some pretty strict guidelines about selling items at cons. I might could get an arrangement, like you said, if it weren't for the actual Stargate being on it. That's going to create massive licensing issues. Even the symbols (Earth and Abydos) are most likely copyrighted as well.
Lots of things happen on the downlow, I know. And I may could still find a way to sell them on the.... blackmarket. Bwahahahaha!

I also think that bringing the the tiles further down on the necklace would probably solve the visibility problem.

Yeah, I'm looking at that possibility. There are a couple of options I've got, so I'm going to see what I come up with and what looks best. :)

Unless I find myself in some overwhelming demand for them (which I highly doubt! :D) I think I'll just keep what I've got. But I'm gonna make a backup plan, just in case.
