It's been days now, almost a week since Haman was defeated, humiliated by the Child called Shinji Ikari. Now, sitting on the small bed in her cell, kept inside the small room by an energy field where bars would usually be, she waits. She's made a single request, to speak to the commander of the IPA mecha forces, to have a conversation with her opposite number.

The request had been largely ignored for the most part. Finally, however, Roy decided to make his way down to the small waiting room. As he takes a seat, he nods to the guards, who go to get Haman to escort her to the small prisoner's room.

He folds his hands in his lap, leaning back as he waits for the woman to be brought in to see what's going on with this requested meeting.

The door opens, allowing the young woman to enter. Her hands are bound in front of her, a pair of shackles connected by beams of energy. She wears no makeup and her normally form-fitting outfit is replaced by a formless gray prisoner's uniform with a number over the front.

She allows the guards to lead her to a seat across from the commander and she sits, resting her shackled hands in her lap. "Hello Commander Fokker. I must say I am rather surprised that you accepted my request. I thought you would have better things to do then visit a defeated enemy awaiting trial."

Sitting up more, the Commander looks at the woman, a small shake of his head given. "You look like hell, Haman." he comments bluntly, then places his hands, folded together on the table. "After the fifth request, I must say I was slightly intrigued at your tenacity."

Haman Karn says, "Well, the IPA is afraid I might come up with some way to escape if given access to cosmetics and my own clothes." She chuckles mirthlessly, "I wish that I could have presented a more pleasing appearance when we at last met but your people fear what I am , what I represent."

She lifts her hands and rests them on the top of the table. "I must congratulate you on your subordinates. They are very well trained and quite powerful. I did not expect to be so easily beaten by that child, Shinji. I must say I was hoping for this to happen at the hands of Lt. Ray or even in battle with you.""

Roy gets that casual 'schucks, t'weren't me' look that belies so much. "They all have their own training, Haman." he drawls slowly, smirking at Haman. "Your fault for under-estimating, I suppose." he casts the woman a wink as he leans back in the chair.

"But I doubt congratulating me is not the real reason why you called me down here, now is it? You could have just sent a card or flowers if that was the case." Roy smirks. "And don't worry about all that makeup, you're a looker without it."

Haman Karn looks away at the sudden compliment. As much as she appreciates the flattery, it's not really something she cares to hear right now. Still, she refuses to blush. "No, it's not why I wished to see you. I wanted to ask you a few things. Things that puzzle me about you and your comrades."

"Figured as much, Haman." The look away was enough to say he struck home. Roy reaches into his pocket, and pulls out an apple, rolling it over to her. "Here, I hear the food sucks around these parts. So, what's this burning question of yours.. and more importantly.. why should I bother to answer it?"

Haman Karn takes the apple, staring at it's ruby red skin. "Why do you work with the IPA? Why do you intefere in the conflicts of other worlds?" She doesn't even look up, she just stares at her own distorted reflection in the delicate surface of the fruit. "Why do your forces aid the Federation against Zeon? Why get involved with a conflict that has nothing to do with you?

"Why shouldn't we?" Roy asks, as he stands up, strolling around the table as he looks out the window. "I mean, from what I read about you.." The Commander casually passes by Haman at danger close, bussing her left shoulder with a finger. "The very questions that you are pressing on me are the ones you should be asking yourself."

Haman Karn says, "I only attacked other worlds because they got involved with my personal business. If you had left me alone, I never would have attacked you." She sighs and looks down. "As for why I was in what I believed to be my own past. Well," she looks up, "even you must have something about your past, about the past of your world, that you would like to change. A war, a death, a love lost. Something you would give anything to make right after it had gone so terribly wrong." She bites into her apple, letting the sweet flesh slip down her throat, the juices dribbling down her chin before she wipes it away."

"Your personal business." Roy gives a small bark of a laugh at that as he goes around to drop into the chair again. "And while you're answering your own questions, to answer yours.. no, I'm not quite that crazy yet, Haman." he says with a small little grin.

Haman Karn frowns. "Everyone accuses me of insanity, they doubt my mental stability. Why do you think me mad? Do you consider those who take extreme measures to get their way mad without exception? Do you think all those willing to do whatever it takes to secure their desires insane?" Her lips draw into a thin line. "I have to tell you, I never thought you would be so narrowminded."

"It's just an observation, dear Haman. But tell me. In the end. When it all came apart in your hands? Do you really think it was worth the risk that you took, or in the end? Or would you have preferred to have never known?" Roy asks as he looks into the woman's eyes.

Haman Karn chuckles. "Who says it's all come apart at the scenes? Who says this isn't something I can use to my advantage. I didn't ask you hear to offer contrition or apologize. I came here to learn from you, to get to know my enemy. There is no reason why this has to be the end of my plans. As for my original reason for visiting what I believed to be the past of my world. Well, that -has- come to naught. The man I sought to get close to once more betrayed his commission, his oath and me in one fell swoop but that is neither here nor there."

[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Roy Fokker says, "Damn, this is one /crazy/ bitch. Glad she's not stalking me."
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Amuro Ray says, "Haman's very singleminded, if that's who you mean"
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Roy Fokker says, "Yep."
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Amuro Ray says, "She seems to think I'm important..."
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Asuka Langley listening to 'Don't Download This Song' on her computer in the background, "More like simpleminded."
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Roy Fokker says, "Maybe she wants to get in your pants now that her first choice was a traitor, hmm~"

Roy chuckles again. "Sorry that I won't be giving you much to learn, then." Taking another apple from his other pocket, he takes a bite of it. "Really, I'm supposed to just answer your questions?" he smirks as he chews on the piece he got for a moment. "And what, praytell, would I have gotten out of this exchange, hmm?"

[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Lily Davies says, "Ugh, that's gross."
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Toji Suzuhara says, "Yeah, I didn't need that mental image."

Haman Karn says, "What do you want?" She chuckles a bit, "I'm willing to give you information, information on my world and the future fate of some of your pilots." Leaning forward a bit, no smile on her face at all, she just stares at the face of the Skull Leader. "I wish to help in some ways, to change the fate of a man who is going to be badly wronged by his own people."

[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Amuro Ray says, "Well, if she's loyal to the Zeon cause, I don't see why she wants /me./"
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Lily Davies says, "Is that machine you've got one-of-a-kind?"
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Amuro Ray says, "Currently, but I think the Federation is working on developing other Gundams. And I've seen stronger ones from other planes, like the ZAFT one."
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Lily Davies says, "Yeah, well, maybe she wants that one. I know we'd try to get a Russian to walk off with one of /their/ relics and bring it to us."
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Amuro Ray says, "She stole it once already. Bitch."
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Amuro Ray says, "-Uh, I mean, I didn't mean to cuss, but, uh."
[Y-Black Sheep Squadron] Lily Davies says, "It's fine, I've heard /way/ worse. I've /said/ way worse."

"Haman, ask yourself this. In your memories.. did you ever meet me? The timeline you know if /already/ done. We have changed and altered our own fates just by passing through the Gate." Roy says with a simple shrug. "For instance, on the night I was at the mixer with the Relief Society, I may have been on duty and become a KIA at Zentraedi hands. We'll never know now. Knowledge, in your case, is not power. Or did you not learn enough of that when you got screwed?"

Haman Karn sighs and looks down. "That doesn't matter. None of it matters now, not the things I once thought or once desired." She looks back up. "Let me tell you what I actually have planned now. Let me be the first to tell you. I wish to take back the fates, to stop the altering of things by cross-gate IPA interference. You interfere in conflicts that do not concern you and then take offense when conflicts spill out into your worlds. Would that I could take back my accidental discovery of the gates and go back to my own world."

"That's a broad brush you're using there, Haman." Roy responds simply, looking at her like she's grown a second head for a moment. Then, he gets a small smirk. "So, let me make sure this is right -- you came here to satisfy your own itch, and when you find out it's not all you want it to be, you throw your hands up in the air, blame the universe, and then become an avenging angel. Is that what this is?" he leans his hands on the table, leans over, and grins at Haman. "You. And. What. Army?"

Haman Karn chuckles. "Just wait and see Roy Fokker. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. How long do you think your Black Sheep can intervene in things without a similar but opposite force will rise to oppose you. Don't tell me you don't relish the idea of a real challenge?"

Roy tches, looking at Haman up and down. "Well, darling, as much as I enjoy a challenge now and again, let me make sure that we get one thing perfectly clear." Reachng over, he tickles a finger under her chin, then withdraws it.

"I don't take well to...
...sloppy seconds."

Haman Karn looks away, frowning and wishing she could strike the man. "Then I'll go back to my cell Mr. Fokker. But I assure you, we will meet again and when we do, I shall completely destroy you and your cherished Squadron."

"Or die trying. Yadda yadda yadda." Roy says with a smirk. "Well, as much as I'd love to stay her all night and be entertained.. you're right. Enjoy your evening. Oh, and when you get to prison? And you're the shower? Don't think too much on me. The prison butches don't need any other help." And with that, he waves in the guard to let her be escorted as he stands up, whistling casually.

Haman Karn glares angrily, waiting for her guards to take her back to her cell, back to her lonely exile and her thoughts. "Just you wait Roy Fokker."

"Good night, sweetheart, it's time to go~" Roy singsongs as he leaves the visitors area and Haman is escorted to her cell. Stopping at the door, he pauses. "..oh. Make sure Miss Karn gets this."

Reaching into his flight pocket, he pulls out a poster of him from his flying circus days, and signs: 'Haman, To the Stars. Roy~ XOXO.'
