Thanks to kefira for my blue dragon! Hope things are well with you! I should check my flist more often, though.
Today and tomorrow, Mini-Me has her FCAT Reading test. Bleh. I'm glad, though, that now the math and science test will actually be on what they've studied all year (which is what it should have been in the first place). But, they've made it more difficult and attached it to teacher performance, which is ridiculous. How can they base a teacher's ability to teach on one test without taking into account the student's overall performance during the academic year? I hate this test, I hate this test..
Luckily, Mini-Me has developed the mindset that it's just another test. She doesn't worry about it, she doesn't lose sleep over it, and she does the best she can.
Speaking of tests: I passed my last benchmark test with a 100! Now, I'm preparing for the six final exams I have. Pass those with at least a 76 and I can start the intermediate course.
On a happy-but-sad note: EUReKA starts tonight, but it's also the last season. *growls at Syfy*
