Stuff
Things haven't changed with the Fins. They do what they can to lose at home. They have a three-game road trip and the bets are the Fins come home having won all their games on the road because that's what they do. At the least Canes beat OSU to salvage the football weekend.
Today is 'Talk like a Pirate Day'. I have a feeling all the kids at Mini-Me's school will be talking like pirates since that's their mascot. ;)
Speaking of her, she's being moved out of Biology Honors today partly at her request. They're moving her out to balance out some of the other science classes (some are smaller than others), and her counselor asked her how she was doing in the Honors class. Mini-Me told her that she was having trouble keeping up with the faster pace and asked to be placed in a regular class. She was nervous at how I would react but I told her she knows herself better and if it's too difficult for her, I rather she be in a class where she's comfortable. I don't want her getting frustrated. She can always move back into Honors when she feels she's ready.
We bought heaters at Lowes yesterday. Yes, you read that right. Our A/C heater doesn't work and if we have the winter we had last the past two years, we need heaters. Last year, there were no heaters to be found when we needed them. It's more expensive to run the A/C heater than space heaters so we're in no hurry to fix it. We only need the heaters for the early morning because by noon, it warms up.
Tonight is EUReKA and WH13! We have forgotten to watch Doctor Who the past two weeks. Have no clue how that happened. CSI premieres this week.
