E.T. researchers blast Cowboys and Aliens for getting aliens wrong
Of all the problems we figured folks might have with Cowboys and Aliens, the one that never occurred to us was that the aliens hadn't been accurately portrayed. But that's what some E.T. researchers are saying.

I received my subject supplies on Thursday. The box was like Mary Poppins' carpet bag. I pulled out four textbooks, a rather imposing dictionary (I have two medical dictionaries now), a CD case, a headset (which I may not use because it's the disc-style and those don't stay in my ears), and a foot peddle. My first assignment is to read a 24-page chapter on ethics and legal responsibilities of medical transcribers.
The thing I noticed about the foot peddle is the forward-peddle is on the left side and the rewind-peddle is on the right side. I would have thought the placement of the peddles would be opposite: forward on the right, rewind on the left. I'm sure there's a reason for it.
I have until October 2012 to finish all three modules.
Have a fun Saturday!
