Update!
Had an assembly for the zoo magnet students yesterday that I had one day to plan. I love short notice. I swear, if I had a month notice, I wouldn't know what to do. The fall fundraiser is in full swing and the students seemed pretty excited about the prizes. Now, we'll just see how enthusiastic parents are. Met the new zoo magnet teacher and she seems really nice.
Mini-me got her progress report and so far she has four A's and two B's. WOOT! And her math teacher is the one that gave us a hard time about the pom-poms last year - well, Mini-me is on her good side and is basically, teacher's pet.
I need to write so that's why I haven't participated in any contests lately. Between my studies, Mini-me's school, being a mom, a wife, a maid, a cook, a bookkeeper, and everything else I do around here, I just don't have the time or the ambition, to be honest.
I did make this icon, though, a while back and forgot about it:
