Well, that was AWFUL!
Out of 300 students we had 12...12...students participate! That's 4% of the total students in the program! What do we have to do to get parents to participate? This is VERY disappointing. But yet, these parents will come to us begging for us to help them financially for the field trips. *facepalm*
On the good side, I'm pretty sure mini-me raised the most in her grade so that means her trip is paid for! I'll know better on Monday as some kids forgot their forms today, but I think they were all sixth graders.
We're in a flood watch until tonight. Great.

St.Patrick's Day is coming early! Mmm...whiskey cake. Wonder if I can talk the hubby into going. Other St. Patty's happenings around South Florida.
Calle Ocho is also this weekend. That is some craziness there.
Miami-Dade County Fair starts in 13 days! WOOT! For the wrestling fans on my flist, Big Show and Carlito from WWE will have a match on April 2.
Off to get some lunch.

EDIT: The lead teacher just called me and three more students dropped off their forms...so...that's good.
