What I did on my Christmas vacation

The good news: The quarter past. ;)

Christmas Eve we went to my in-laws for dinner and a get-together with family and friends. Christmas morning we went to my sister-in-law's house for breakfast and opened gifts. Then we rushed back to my house before my family arrived. My mom stayed with us for a couple of days and I took her shopping on Friday and found great deals. Saturday, my son had friends over and we had a bar-b-que. Sunday took mom to my brother's house. He had a long-time family friend over and we all watched the Dolphin game. We cheered, screamed, yelled, stressed, rejoiced, and wondered why Brett Favre ran off the field without shaking anybodies hand. We knew he was hurt, but he still played in the game up until the last play, so it couldn't have been that bad. He couldn't stick around and be sportsman like? Guess not. I mean, it's not like he was taken off the field on a stretcher and sent to the hospital. He looked like he wanted to get away from his team more than anything.

I saw a movie and the Doctor Who Christmas Special.

I have only word for this movie: SUCKS!

Well, it was better than last year and not nearly as depressing. But RTD, I can't wait for you to leave. David Morrisey was awesome and I really enjoyed him. I liked the story up until the reveal of the big villain. I'll put this one third on my list with VotD still being the worst of the bunch. My fave is still The Runaway Bride.

I loved the setting and the costumes. DT was great as usual. And at least this time, he agreed to Christmas dinner.

My question is this, how many different versions of the name "Rose" are we going to hear until RTD leaves? *facepalm*

Enough, RTD, enough.

Still haven't heard from our loan officer and hubby is going to give him a not-so-nice phone call.

My daughter and I are enjoying vegetating in front of the TV while watching the CSI marathons. *thumbs up*

tv: csi, sports, tv: doctor who, spoilers, holidays, kids, movies
