I've know for a couple of years that I was getting done with the weather. It's not that I don't like extreme weather - I often do. And in Buffalo you can get some bad snowstorms, and they know how to clean it up like nobody's business. But I'm done, at least for now.
I missed the planting season really - I just have a couple of tomatoes and peppers in pots. It should have been done in Feb, but I was really still just getting settled in. Here though, I have SO MUCH space and even an outbuilding we call the potting shed!
I'll have another chance for growing though, come September.
Still, while I think everyone would be happier in their preferred climate, we'll still complain about the weather!
OMG you posted on LJ!! I was beginning to think your fingers didn't now how to do the walking here anymore.
I don't really care for FB, but it seems what folks are doing these days. I'm not sure why. You can't organize anything and you have to be very careful about what you say, because not everyone knows all that much about you, nor do you care for them to.
That all said! Glad you are loving where you are! When I get back to Ohio and have gotten some rest, I owe you something (long over due), so you'll be hearin' from me!

I am equally happy to be in Maine, where we have yet to warm up enough to be serious planting season (which is a bit frustrating, but...).
I wish everyone who wanted a milder climate would move to one. Would make life nicer for everyone.

I like FB because it's fast and you don't need to put together any thoughts that require brain work. And my brain is not so worky lately.
And if you take a swing through FL, you should visit.
