Here is my final block for the first round! I'm so excited to have them all finished. This block was easy for me to select fabric because the orange and light blue were the only fabrics that I had enough material left to use for this block. LOL. We are celebrating my grandma's 75th birthday this Saturday. So I wanted my kids (4 years and 2 years) to make her something special. I decided on this banner of sorts. Here is my June block. I had to get creative with my fabric. I don't have a lot left (at least that which will work well together). This block is not set up at all like I initially planned. Here are my blocks for April and May. I got them finished on Friday. I am pleased with both of the blocks. My husband especially loves the Churn Dash block. For my daughter's 2nd birthday, I wanted to make her a ladybug cake. I made one large ladybug and five smaller ladybugs. Her birthday party was a "ladybug picnic".
