Journey to 1 meter
I finally decided to take Amee's laptop with me to Vermont so I am writing this in my hotel suite. Amee and I were worried that it might be damaged or stolen but, the majority of the people I work with bring theirs, one even brings her entire computer so she can play Warcrack, and nothing has happened to any of theirs. The internet here sucks however, a very weak wireless network, so no online games for me.
Last week was my first week back from vacation and it always sucks to come back to work. It was also Patti's last week here. Since she was my primary dinner source I have been reduced to microwave meals since I don't have the energy to make a five course meal like Patti did. Patti's meals would also take up most of the evening but, now I get to just chill in my hotel room and whittle away the time in front of a laptop. Mmmm computer energy feeds my dark soul. I suppose that is just another reason to finish computer science, as long as I do it before 2010 Amee and I should be fine. This should give us plenty of time before we need to prepare for the arrival of Cain Owen or Leelee.
The weeks are beginning to fly by, who knew that burying your head in a hole could pass the time so quickly. Nothing special has been found and nothing terrible or exciting about the places we are digging. I feel like I am out of touch with the rest of the world. However in a few weeks I'll be in Europe seeing the world instead. With the money from this wretched job I should be able to accomplish a lot. Amee and I need to change our plane tickets however so that we can spend Christmas in Europe, probably Paris.
I've noticed that a lot of my friends who keep online journals tend to write more about political issues than their actual lives. I've kept from doing this since I have begun writing a book, a sort of manifesto, to how things should be run. I think I am going to call it "Steelism." It won't be a long book as I tend not to write alot, like on term papers, although the school of Bisbee has actually done something about that, a lot more than high school or college.
Well since I tend to turn in early here I should eat dinner now so that I don't eat right before bed. So I shall call it a day for now. I could probably start updating a lot more but with this job not much happens in life so don't expect much.
