I wish I were able to write about my life in the way that Janet Fitch has her characters see/feel their lives. It's enchanting and gracefully flowing...relaxing. I need to observe life more rather than simply being; I should exist...makes sense right? -

Why is it that I never want to go to my Political Anthropology class? It's interesting but I'll find anyway I can to not go. I feel so lame. I will get better about this...I really do want to improve myself all around. it's coming along but, meh, slowly. -

I was just thinking how much I would love to get a job that did not involve retail of any kind. The hours for work throw off my eating schedule like mad! I've recently changed the way I have been eating (6 small meals a day) and working out everyday of the week minus the weekends. I've been disappointed that I have not been to the gym lately. The only type of exercise I've been getting is yoga once a week and weight training twice a week (If I end up going to class). I've been better with the fast food and still have not been tempted into drinking a soda. Although my eating habits are better, they're still bad. I tend to eat ( Read more... ) -
Learning to love the gym
I'm finally getting back into the swimming routine. I was able to swim 2000 yards for my work out yesterday. I've worked my way up from 500 which was incredibly depressing. Anyway, I'm excited because I can finally see a difference in my arms from the weight training I've been doing. I don't know why but I am completely obsessed with working out my ( Read more... ) -
Resolutions.
It's not new years yet I know. But I've convinced my boyfriend that we need a lifestyle change. Since I've been trying to eat better and work out more he's starting to feel that maybe he should do the same as well. Day 3 and 4
Thursday- I tried to eat as little as possible on this day, I'm tired of all the junk food. But of course, as soon as I had set a goal, the temptations start appearing.
