On my day off yesterday, I spent a significant amount of time cleaning my bedroom. Washing and re-fitting the bedclothes, removing an empty cardboard box that was just taking up space, cleaning some laundry that had accumulated on the floor, and the like. This morning, I went to grab my phone from its charger (in my bedroom) and couldn't find it amidst all of the electrical cords- the alarm clock, a lamp that's not actually plugged in but is
pleasing to the eye, my laptop cord, the extension cord to the fan, and the unused cable wire peeking out of wall. I realized that what bugs me about my bedroom is just that- how many cords there are in such a small area! I feel like I'm living in some sort of hi-tech area, when in fact- I am not! (Ok that was a weak sentence, but a true one.) The only thing to do is figure out if some cords can be eliminated or more attractively displayed. As fall approaches, the fan will disappear, which will be huge....but who knows about the rest??
Love,
me
