A huge thank you to musicwriter18 for burning me the Matchbox Twenty EP. I really, really like a few songs on there and enjoy the album in general. No matter what they do, I just love that group.
Last night I got my drinky drink on at cafesteu's birthday celebration (held at Mackey's). The TDDC crew was in attendance, as were some other cool people. I think I had about eight drinks. Anyone who knows me knows that that's a lot. I've decided that although I get drunk rather easily, I plateau at about four or five. I also think seven is about when I start to forget things because although I remember the whole night, it's in patches and blurry. New Rule: When Andrea is drinking, her friends are encouraged to take away her cell phone like it's car keys and only give it back at the end of the night or to call people that they approve of. I drunk dialed four people yesterday. Luckily I think they all took it in stride (thanks to those of you on this LJ list who were a part of that!).
In all, the night was good times. Woke up butt early for the AIDS walk today, which was great. I enjoyed chatting with Kenton and drivingdaisy. The longer the walk went on, the more excited I got. By the end I was cheering with the volunteers who were rooting us on. Awesome. I believe my group thought I was on crack.
I did nothing this afternoon and it was just fine. Saturday is officially my day for relaxing. In the future I hope to go to Eastern Market and do more outdoorsy things because I always feel bad (physically and mentally) when I don't get outside a lot during the day. It's going to be cold (50s and 60s) in South Dakota this week but at least I'll be outside the whole time.
Now onto nikhedonia's GREEN CARD PARTY! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY he got his Green Card (which, ironically, isn't green but white)! I won't really be drinking but I'm determined to enjoy myself all the same. Tomorrow will be work hell.
