This evening, I went to the annual menorah-lighting ceremony down at the Wayvern Community Center-- it's the first year it hasn't coincided with the first night of Hanukkah but, given the timing, it's completely understandable. We just got back from Columbus. LC staying at a hotel under the supervision of the MEPS military liason. We dropped LC off for the morning so he could get all the red-tape settled, while my brother and I took the girls to COSI. LC finished up about 5:30 pm, and the liason released him to us for dinner, which went pretty well ( Read more... )

In a few minutes, the girls will be home from school and I'll start herding everyone into getting dressed for our portrait appointment. My brother and I sat my cousin down this morning and explained to him, very clearly, that in order to continue living here, he needs to start seeing a counselor again, and go back on his meds.
