Things that make me sad/frustrated/angry:
1. Incompetent lab partners. If you're going to make mistakes and spill things, fine; I can accept those things in a laboratory setting. But for heaven's sake, please, don't just stand there being clueless after you do something wrong and wait for someone else to clean up your mess.
2. People who vandalize library books. I placed a hold on a supplementary text for P-Chem at the university library, and got it today, only to find that the first 136 pages of it had been torn out by someone who checked it out prior to myself. I'd been looking forward to getting this book too, because it's supposed to be a really good text for understanding the concepts we're covering in class right now. Too bad everything we're covering is in those first 136 pages. I totally suspect that someone in my class tore those pages out to evade having to give the book back to the library. Not that I don't understand the desperation, but still, how mean can you get??
3. Delay in shipment dates. I still can't believe YesAsia pushed back the ship out date for both the Maou OST and the Otakara Photo Files. What then, was the point of me pre-ordering those items weeks in advance so that I could get them as soon as they were released?
4. Not having time to draw D:
To counterbalance those, things that make me happy/excited/peaceful:
1. New music. Whether it's pop or ballad, Japanese or English, I love having new music to listen to.
2. Cooking. Trying out new recipes while listening to said new music and bouncing around the kitchen is really, really relaxing.
3. Random acts of kindness. Just to have someone help open doors for me when I'm coming up the apartment stairs with my hands full of grocery can turn my mood around some days.
4. Sunshine. I'm so glad the windows in the living room face South-East so I can see the sunrise almost every day. It's really nice to wake the body up naturally.
5. Arashi. Just because the happy and the sparkly and the rainbows will always make me smile despite everything else.
6. Chocolate. I know it's only psychological, but I don't care :)
7. Nia. Going to Nia classes has been good to me so far. I'm glad I decided to try it out.
8. Good conversations. Especially semi-philosophical or semi-scientific ones.
And yes, I deliberately wrote twice as many things for happy than for sad, even though I didn't elaborate as much.
