A Farewell
It has finally come time to say goodbye...to dial-up.
Despite its maddening slowness, despite tying up the phone line, despite it being old-fashioned, I must admit, the system did serve us faithfully these last few years (disregarding the countless times it froze, or refused to download something). But we've finally, finally installed DSL! So I bid adieu to the old system and am perfectly glad to get acquainted with this new one.
It's not as fast as most people's still, probably because our computer itself is tempermental, but it's definitely better than what I had before *nods*. Yay for technological advances.
