In the past week, I have heard of two attempts of people my own age who felt they no longer had any options in life.
Only one was "successful".
One "success" too many.
This post is dedicated to those who saw no other solution: those who ever felt too alone. This is in memory of our friends who are no longer with us, and to those who have tried, and happily are still with us.

Realize the Importance of Suicide's End
As of 2003:
*Every day, 11 people between the ages of 15-24 commit suicide
*The suicide rate has more than doubled since 1950
*Suicide is the third highest mortality for people between the ages of 15-24
(American Association of Suicidology)
I am sure we have all entertained the thought at least once in our lives. Even to nonchalantly say "Ugh, if I fail chemistry/if Bobby Hottie breaks up with me/if dad says I can't go out Friday night/if I don't make the football team, I'm just gonna kill myself!"
But seriously, if you *ever* feel you need someone, and can't seem to get ahold of any of your friends or family (or think for some awful reason that someone won't understand or doesn't care (which is totally and utterly untrue)), do not hesitate to call the suicide helpline.

Never forget: you are not alone!
