Eurovision tragic part 2

At the intermission in the Eurovision 2nd semi final, the hosts spoke to a couple of Australians in the audience. They asked a couple which were their favourite acts.  (It has to be said, the couple came across as a bit stilted).   The woman said Lithuania because of the sparkly pants, and the man said that he thought he spoke for all

Oh my Lisa, I certainly was embarrassed by those bloody idiot Aussies. Maybe they were just stunned by having to speak in front of millions of people around the world watching.

Not to say that I wasn't sitting at home thinking I'd love to be in the audience...

It wasn't the greatest year for funny acts. I like Serbia but I hear Germany is favourite.

Which I'm very surprised about. I really don't like the song. I've heard it on the radio umpteen times per day in the last few months and honestly - her English accent drives me crazy! :-(

It's not the first time that a song that can drive you crazy is the winner lol!

Yeah ... but Germany only won once and that was 28 years ago - so it's not really likely! ;-)

Unfortunately we don't get to hear the German song until tomorrow night (no spoilers please!). I will listen very closely to her voice and accent ;-)

This year I've managed to watch both semi finals, so I'll be much more familiar with the songs tomorrow night, which is great. I'm getting into it a bit more this year.
