It's literally driving me nuts.
The car is going to die if it doesn't get its act together and quickly. Last week I had to get coolant since the car temperture was going above the normal range and was nearly empty. That I took care of and had no futher problems with. This morning on the way home from the meeting at work my oil light was on. There was a spot of something on the ground under the car but I wasn't sure if it was from me or not. I got home and put in more oil. It was nearly empty.
Tonight Stefanie and I went to work to get our checks since neither worked today and I wanted to see George a few minutes. *scolds self for stalking* Well, the temperature was rising again so in the parking lot I looked under the hood to see what was up and there is a small stream of something spraying out of the radiator or some hose. Not good. Plus the coolant tank is practically empty. Now I can't go to Wal-Mart like I wanted because I don't want to fuck up the engine. I called Frankie and hopefully he can look at the car maybe tomorrow and figure it out. I have work tomorrow and Monday but off Tuesday so hopefully he can fix whatever is wrong and fast.
When George was getting back from break I asked if he knew much about cars and he managed to name the make and year of the car and when I told him what was up he said it could be the water pump or the radiator. Then again he also said that the car was know for being a piece of shit. Thanks, George.
Whatever it is I know it can most likely be fixed but it still gets to me and makes me crazy. I just worry about driving when it's all messed up and doing further damage. Of course now that I called Frankie, he'll probably look at it and then Aunt Mary will find out and she'll offer to pay for whatever the car needs. I just hope that it's not any more serious then what it could be. Plus I don't want to have to depend on family to take me to and from work if it takes a while to fix.
This also puts a kink in plans because George said tonight that we should start making more plans for the party and also start getting some of the stuff. I agree but with a car that is acting up I'm slightly screwed unless he's offering to do the driving for now. For most of the stuff we have to do together hopefully we'll just take one car and do it that way. Saves the trouble of having to meet up somewhere and such.
