It's days like today at work I hate.

It might have started out slow but then it got packed. I swear every mother, father, child and relative of theirs went to the movies to see something. The lines were past the doors and heading all over the place. Two of the managers were helping Lynne and me out. Chris came in at two and then he went on his register. At times it was us three concessionists and two managers. Usually I go on break between one and one thirty. Not today though. I didn't go until near three thirty which was ridiculous.

People got on my nerves as well. Someone gave me a twenty and tried to convince me that they'd given me a fifty. I think not, asshole. Then someone else ordered three small popcorns and when I handed them over they say they only ordered two. My hearing works perfectly well and I know they said three.

Once again I didn't get closed out until after five and my rides comes at five fifteen. Luckily Stefanie called and I told her to tell Lit to come at five thirty. I did what I could and then left, Lynne saying she'd take care of the rest.

I pray to whatever that tomorrow is calmer and the endless amounts of people are non existent. Today could have been crowded since it seems like everyone had off from work. Hopefully tomorrow will just be a few random kids off from school.

Thankfully I'm off from Wednesday through Saturday. Yay. I need a few days to recoup from today and possibly tomorrow.

Tonight Stef, Jenn and I ran to Wal-Mart where I was unable to find the latest Sherrilyn Kenyon book Unleash the Night even though it comes out tomorrow. People on the spoilers group I belong to have been finding it at Wal-Marts and other stores the past few days when it wasn't even due to be released yet. I want it, damn it. This is one series I adore. And if I had enough money in the bank account I'd order it off Amazon but Stefanie failed to deposit my check the other day like I asked her too. I ended up buying another book instead to hold me over. Then it was to Home Depot for a shelf for Jenn and then to McDonalds for dinner.

If I were smart I'd go to bed somewhat early but knowing me I won't. I swear I try to get as much as I can out of a day.
