Elizabethtown and Halloween costume brainstorming.
Saw Elizabethtown with Jenn and Stefanie tonight at ten. It was a cute movie and I've been wanting to see it. The plot was dull at times but mostly it was decent. And Orlando Bloom with an American accent is cute. Then again he's also growing on me although no one can beat Johnny Depp as the hottest male in the acting business.
I'm still working on ideas for a costume for the party on the 28th. If I can't find anything in a store then I just might make something if I can find what I need. I might give a try at making a medievel gown. I have an old dress of Stefanie's I can use as the base. She has to find an old velvet one she has so I can use it for the overlayer. I'd just cut out a portion in front like an inverted V and maybe add some trim. I'd have to find one of my peasant tops and wear it underneath so I can have flowy sleeves. Still I need to work out the details and such.
One night when Jenn gets home from work we might go to Wal-Mart if she has the time. I want to see what kind of costumes they have still. I'm not sure if it would be easier to just make something or just buy something. Guess it depends on if I have the time to make something verses just saving the time and buying a costume that would most likely only be worn once.
