[The picture is pretty blurry from dirt, but the video opens to a very dusty, dirty, muddy pair of female soldiers. Hawkeye's hair has half fallen out of her clip, her work clothes streaked with mud and grease and maybe a little blood from the way her lower lip is swelling up. Tear's pulled her own mess of hair back into a bird's nest to keep it out of her face, her normally sharp clothes in a similar situation of disarray. There are about eight dudes tied up around them, looking far worse for wear--and miraculously lacking any stab wounds or bullet holes--and they are each restraining two more. Hawkeye scoops up the guide from the dusty ground where it has fallen, passing over the screen with the cleanest edge of her shirt.]
I will admit, I did not expect this planet to yield so much excitement, but of course, we are always glad to be of assistance wherever possible.
[it's suddenly obvious that the strange smoke in the background is from a huge pile up of crashed mine carts. A mob is beginning to form around both the carnage and the two ladies subduing 10 criminals. Tear comes back into view, trying to rub her hands clean, looking a little nonplussed.] Lieutenant..?
Mm...it is quite a small town, I do not believe they have adequate facilities for a fresh shower at the moment. If someone could perhaps bring us a change of clothes and [she gives her bare grimy arms a mild look] a clean towel...and some ammunition, perhaps a grenade or two. Rebecca, if--
Lieutenant...
[Hawkeye looks up at her tone of voice, but it is TOO LATE! The thankful crowd of mining townspeople have already broken out into Spontaneous Folk Singing. Someone dons sunglasses and brings out a worn acoustic.]
The girls that cause pain!
Oh, both were called a bitch
And that they were a bore
But they stood up to these bad men
And kicked them out our door
Our love for them now
Ain't hard to explain
The heroes of Goldtown
The girls that cause pain!
These girls saw our bank accounts breakin'
They saw our monetary lament
And they saw these thieves takin'
Every credit and leavin' nothing'
So they said: "You can't do that to these people"
Said: "You can't crush them under your heel"
So these girls grabbed their guns and staff
And in five seconds flat
Made them regret ever starting to steal
We called from our houses
We called from our yards
Not just because they were curvy
(Though it certainly helped~)
Our love for them now
Ain't hard to explain
The heroes of Goldtown
The girls that cause pain!
[Tear and Hawkeye give each other uncomfortable looks, and flick off the feed before Verse Two can start]
[OOC As for Ed, Hawkeye uses work to deal with emotions, and will probably continue to do until things are taken care of. Or until someone tries to order her to stop WHY WOULD YOU when it backfires like this. So dated after all his plot is taken care of I promised this post awhile ago. LMFAO THANK YOU FRANCY/SHE WHO WISHES TO REMAIN ANON FOR YOUR LYRICAL PARODY SKILLS AND I'M SO SORRY JOSS WHEDON]
