[The feed begins with an obviously confused female voice.] ...so how do I turn this damn thing on again? [You can hear her pause before sighing, slightly annoyed.] No, D'veg. You can't eat it, and it doesn't give you cookies.

[It seems like something's going on, from what you can hear, but the screen is still black, just audio coming through at ( Read more... )

Familiarity, I suppose. You can't trust someone until you understand them. It's the only way to be sure.

Mmm, I get that. [She nods.] Any particular reason why it's "the only way," in your words? Understanding's great- but is that all you need to know about someone?

Well...
[He thinks about this for a moment.]
... you can't trust someone unless you know how they'd react under pressure - therefore, understand them. You don't need to trust someone to get along with them, you only need to like them.
Trust is only required when something important to you is on the line... Whether you like them or not has nothing to do it. I know several people I don't like - but I would trust them with my life.

At least, that is the way I see it.

It's good to see people still separate the two. It's not always the easiest thing. I know that from experience.

Hey, no big! I'd rather hear other's opinions than listen to myself talk all day. Advice is advice, and when it's offered, you take it. Even if you don't like it or you already know the answer.

The name's Kiriko, by the way.

[She's definitely learned how to smile in tough times, and make the best of the worst situations, this is no exception.]

Aw, you're gonna make me blush here. Just stating what I think is right. A lot of stuff kicked me in my ass earlier for not really listening or paying attention.

Krypta. Good to meet you, Kiriko.

Heh. It makes me happy that I was able to flatter you.
I'm glad there was a lesson learned. You really are impressive.

Thanks, same to you. I hope we see more of each other in the future.
