Parrots are rather wonderful. They live long, they mate for life, and they are very intelligent and playful. That is, if you train them correctly. I enjoy doves, but they are clearly not as popular as the more flashy birds.

Have you had pets at all, Kaoru?

What breed is Abi-chan? I admit I have never owned a dog. I've heard they are very loyal to their owners. Is that true?

She's a Pomeranian. She's a good girl, though she can be noisy at times.
