[You somehow see Germany and Italy taking a stroll, after a surprisingly successful dinner (i.e. nothing exploded, nobody got arrested, their food didn't attack them, etc.).
So they're walking along when Italy hangs back a little. Germany notices, but thinks nothing of it and keeps walking. Italy probably saw something shiny and got distracted; he'll catch up.
Italy pulls out an absurdly sharp dart (with little hearts on it), takes aim, and ("Ve, for love!") throws it at Germany.

It misses, but it sails over Germany's shoulder and HOLY SHIT THERE'S AN ATTACK TRIANGULATING TRAJECTORY OF UNKNOWN MISSILE (over in that general direction) AUTOMATIC COUNTER ENGAGED (Did they kidnap Italy already?!!): BLITZKRIEG THE SHITE OUT OF PERPETRATOR

So you see Germany executing a perfect tackle right into Italy, while he screams and throws more 'love' darts in hopes of stopping Germany's charge. Some actually hit, but yeah. Good luck, Italy.
