[A day had already passed, still the Justicar had not tinkered with her guide plug's text, audio or video functions. One could argue she was putting off confirming that her home planet, or more like entire universe she was familiar with, had been destroyed and, instead, sought to find peace by meditating first. Although the Asari race did seem to have "magical" powers, it was only because of their high exposure to element zero. Implants also allowed other races to also do the same, including humans. Therefore, teleportation wasn't impossible. (Although it would probably take a very godly being.) If mass relays could do so to ships, why not some other being from another place or time?
Samara needed more proof other than just words alone, however, she knew to show her respect. ]
That is unfortunate, in that case I am sorry for the loss of your planet.

Samara? What a pleasant surprise this is. [With that being said, Shepard smiled softly towards her asari comrade. It seemed like many of her crew mates were popping up, whether it was before or after Shepard's arrival, she only hoped more would show as well.]
What you heard about our home world being destroyed is true. There hasn't been any proof that would make that statement false at this time. [That smile that graced the commander's lips faded and was replaced with a straight line.] I'm having trouble believing it too, but there is nothing else we can do at the moment.

[Although she refrains from displaying her surprise, she cannot help but allow the corners of her lips to curve upward, ever so slightly, forming a smile. Out of all the people in the universe to survive the destruction of her universe as she knew it, it was Shepard, as well.]
Though I shouldn't be surprised to see you have survived what seems to be the impossible, again, I am pleased to find you are here as well.

Yeah, I figured you would say that.
[Shepard pondered on bringing up a certain topic, but she thought against it- especially since the asari had just arrived. Maybe later would better suit that talk...]
How have you been since you've arrived?
