[...Weakly, Kiriko raises his head. Is that Maraich...?
...It's too late it hide it from him now. He'd better take that...
It takes him awhile, but he crawls over to where he threw the Guide. When he's close enough to touch it, he sighs in relief, and props himself against the wall. He keeps his face hidden.]
DAMMIT FRANK, POST IT THIS TIME... also [Video/Action]curious_copycatJuly 29 2011, 04:15:32 UTC
[The sound of his sobbing instantly has her attention riveted on the Guide, and despite his efforts to shut her out, there's enough of his panicked consciousness coming over their link for her to home in on his location. No matter what he had done to her, once, she could feel nothing but a sick horror at seeing him like this...]
[She's running toward that part of the ship even as she hits the button for voice:]
You're bleeding! What happened? Why did you see Remilia? Did she do this?
[Video/Action] At least we're off to a flying start? >_>curious_copycatJuly 29 2011, 04:55:07 UTC
[There's a falter in her step, at that, then her jaw takes on a stubborn set and she keeps running, switching her hold on the Guide so that she can see, and what she sees only makes her run faster.]
[When she speaks, her voice has an uncharacteristically uncompromising edge to it.]
Of course I'm coming--you're hurt! Does anyone else know where you are?
[Video/Action] Oh LJdr_kirikoJuly 29 2011, 05:08:29 UTC
[He's too exhausted to argue or explain. The shock from the attack beginning to wear off, everything hurts, his head is splitting, and he doesn't know how much longer he'll be conscious or even alive. Still, he feels so guilty... This shouldn't have happened, especially not her knowing.. Not a thing has gone right... Dazed, he can hardly speak. He remains the way he is, hiding his injury and his pain all he can.]

...
[That voice, any of the voices of the people who have hounded him, makes him shiver. Scared for his life and in pain, he continues to cry, his voice shaking.]
She... She should have just killed me... You all should have just...
Re: [Voice, private]dr_kirikoJuly 29 2011, 20:13:47 UTC
Not savages?!
[Though she cannot see him, he does not know the Guide is not set to Video. He tears his hand from his face to display his bloody socket to the Guide.]
What else but monsters could do this and leave me to live?! You... You don't know a thing about being mortal... I... I want to die! Kill me!
[Hearing the man's voice, Kiriko pulls himself together long enough to drag himself to his Guide and respond. Finally... someone he can trust to listen. Near stranger or no, he believes he can trust the magician.
Keeping his face covered, Kiriko responds with a hoarseness to his voice.]
M...Mister Flowright... there's something I... need you to do...
[Kiriko worries at first the other man had hung up, and then sighs in relief when he hears his voice. Still not looking at the screen, he bows his head further, bangs spilling over his hands, and shakes his head.]
[Marisa sees this and debates on how she wants to respond. Having been watching the events in the Scarlet Devil Mansion, she's aware of what happened. Hmm...]
[With a flash of magic, the feeling of energy spiraling outward, Marisa teleports a few feet behind Kiriko. She has a high-level illusion spell active to mask her identity to those that don't already know her well.
Most of it is lost on the doctor, lacking sight as he was, such as the clothing she appears to be wearing, the way her eyes glow gold, the slight red tint to her blonde hair, as if it'd been stained by blood, and the tattered black cloak billowing about her as if there was a breeze. But what he could feel was the aura of dread emanating from her.
She stares at the man, uncaring about the blood, with a cold emotionless stare. When she speaks, once again it is that voice from before - dark, unyielding and without her usual accent.]
So I see. [a low chuckle] The Scarlet Devil was merciful. Far more than I would have been.
