[This is a very bemused Ukitake sitting and surveying the feed as it pops on.]
[...Which, admittedly, is not a very unusual thing in itself.]
[What is unusual, on the other hand, is the bright red flip-flop that he now holds up to view for the feed, whilst he retains an expression of (relative) seriousness.]
So, it seems we've come upon a bit of a...problem, this morning, in room 5-7. We seem to be lacking in some footwear, actually. [a small little gesture with the flip-flop in question, to kind of...emphasize] Gone missing, for some reason or another.
Ah, and usually, I wouldn't be posting on the network for something as trivial as a missing shoe, of course. But...well.
This is shaping up to be something of an interesting case.
[And, turning the feed a bit, you see a wall--with five or so pairs of flip-flops ranging through several shades of the rainbow, lined up neatly along it.]
[...Except there are periodic gaps in the line, where all of the lefties of each pair used to be.]
[The feed is shifted back to Ukitake, now smiling somewhat sheepishly.]
I guess what I'd really like to know is--well. Has this...happened to anyone else, recently?
I must say it's a pretty good joke, but still...
