006 Respect Points || Video (Unplanned and Unexpected)
[A very unaware Rikku pops up on the screen, pacing back and forth in some sort of small, dark room. She's scratching her head, in clear discomfort. Something has her shaken, something the Sigrun captain said in his departing message.]

Just like all those people and what they did with Zanarkand? [She pauses in her pacing, shaking her head after a moment.] Uh, well, I guess I mean your Zanarkand, right?
[Suddenly she squats down on the floor, fiddling around with her scarf for a while before switching to picking at the lint-inhabited carpet] I never really believed in all that Yevonite mumbo-jumbo before you... before Yunie's pilgrimage, and 'specially Auron... but y'know, the evidence was there. You were there.
[She stands up again, unable to make herself stay still. Her brain is trying to wrap its way around this concept it can barely stay on one track. She starts to feel more uncertain the more she tries explaining this to herself] ... If dreams have the power to do that- if they're strong enough to be able to preserve all those memories into physical beings- then... Our worlds, are they even really destroyed? Like, permanently gone? Or is there actually some weird, parallel force- maybe even the Fayth- keeping our worlds together, and using our dreams to power them? Maybe... this is all some kinda test?
[For someone whose race doesn't believe in an afterlife, or even the Fayth for that matter, it's a very hard thing for her to fully grasp, to understand and accept. But, what other choice does she have?]
