[Holosseum] Fight of a Thousand Punis

[Oh, look. Looks like there's a match at the Holosseum starting now. The camera focuses on a pair of announcer aliens, both identical and humanoid, but one red, and one blue.]

It's another beautiful orbital rotation here at the Holosseum. Looks like the crowd's already getting warmed up for this match. We've got two guests from the S.S. Thor ready

...You've gotta be kidding me.

[Chie lets out an explosive, annoyed sigh.]

At least they don't look hard.

Let's try to make this quick. I don't want to entertain the audience any more than necessary.

[The same cannot be said of the Punis. They're... showboating. Which equates to jiggling and jumping as best they can at the audience. It's not working well.]

Go when you're ready. I need a moment to prepare something.

Yeah.

[Chie sighs again and bounces out to face the stupid jellies.]

Alright you little bastards. I'm gonna take you down!

[She starts bouncing from foot to foot, briefly warming up before pulling that all-too-familiar burning card of burning out of nowhere to summon Suzuka Gongen for a good old fashioned Mabufu-- which takes out the ten nearest Puni, and draws agro the attention of the rest of them to her, buying Patchy some time.]

[While Patchy was interested in what Chie had summoned, now was not the time to look curiously at it. Now was the time to be killing things. With lasers.]

[Chie's distraction gave her ample time to ready a spell.Not the usual flourish of danmaku, but rather a laser. A simple laser that took advantage of the fact that they were conglomerating around her partner. It did come rather close to hitting her, but it didn't.]

[There was a counter up in the stands, indicating the kill count. From ten, the laser cuts through a large portion of them, bringing it to near a hundred.]

[You can ask her to demonstrate again later, after all. Right now? Puni stomping.]

[Again summoning Gongen, Chie hits another 20 with an Agneyastra to their collective faces.]

Ugh, this is so annoying...

[While they were easy to kill, there were still a lot. More than any one person was able to control. While the two were distracted with the majority of the group, some managed to get past them, and promptly jumped on Patchouli from behind.]

Mukyu! H-help...

[She tried blasting them off of her, but while that worked to some extent, it wasn't enough, and still more were getting past Chie.]

[Meanwhile, the audience cheered. The battle was starting to get interesting.]
